Your Fireplace Solution

Fireplace Pros, LLC installed fireplace Your home is an investment that can provide shelter and warmth for your family for decades to come. But, like any investment, a home requires regular maintenance to keep it free of the deterioration caused by time and surroundings. The same goes for the chimney and fireplace system of the home.

Summer's on the way, and once the cold season is over, you may think your top rated fireplace is ready for a long vacation. But not so fast - just because you've stopped using the fireplace doesn't mean you should forget about it. Let's look at some of the things you can do to your fireplace during the summer.

As the heat of summer begins bearing down (or the heat of spring, depending on where you live), you need to make sure your damper is tightly closed. Leaving it open will create a draft and either bring in hot air from outside or send cool air inside the house up the chimney. This is also a good time to check if the damper needs any repair work or replacement.

Another good off-season activity is giving your fireplace a thorough cleaning.

Neglecting the care of your chimney can restrict the flow of gases and cause smoke to re-enter your home, thus putting you at risk. That's why it's important to get your chimney cleaned on a regular basis.

At Fireplace Pros, we're committed to providing thorough, honest, and professional chimney cleaning services to help you and your family stay warm and safe through the winter season. When you hire us, you can rest assured that we'll take the time to do the job right. No matter the state of your chimney, we're up to the challenge of getting it into top shape.

Fireplace Pros, LLC has been in business for over 20 years for all of your commercial or residential fireplace needs.

Would you believe this is an electric fireplace? They've come a long way baby! No need to put candles or flowers in your wood burning fireplace anymore. Call us for a free estimate. This picture is of a wood burner. Our client was tired of the extra work and mess, nor did they want to spend the money on a gas insert. Electric was the best alternative. You get the look and even warmth from this unit. Many times we will have to make a custom surround. But that is a finishing detail that cannot be overlooked if you want it to look like this, the real thing. - View Post

Fireplace Repair is in full swing during the month of February and March. One of the fireplaces we were called out on was filled with insulation, in an attempt to stop the cold air seepage. Without having a trained professional keep your fireplace in good working order you may wind up with something like this. The flue and the cap were stuffed with pink insulation, making the fireplace unsightly and unusable. It is now in good working order and there are no air leaks. As you can see, we can fix just about anything! - View Post

We are busy with fixing and cleaning all models of fireplaces, but there is something special about a remodel. You can actually see the transformation in-front of your very eyes. This was our latest project. going from a 70's wood burner with gas logs, that was very inefficient to a highly efficient gas fireplace. That alone was amazing, but the icing on the cake was the rusted metal piece made by Shelly Rogers to compliment the brick and add more texture and interest. Fireplace Pros LLC can do a complete turnkey fireplace overhaul. Give us a call to schedule an appointment to see what "wow" factor you can create. - View Post
